At Coinbase, recruiting is one of the most important functions of the business. We're building out technical teams in our UK office and are looking for someone to work as a thought partner with the Engineering Managers, liaise with the recruiting team at HQ, and to own key hires that move the needle for the business. You’ll work closely with the existing team in the UK to help improve processes and identify new sourcing strategies. You'd be the sole recruiter in London and thus we need someone that is happy to run processes from start to finish as well as take on junior to senior positions as needs arrive. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the premier cryptocurrency exchange and lead our recruitment efforts in the UK. 

Responsibilities

• Build pipeline of candidates through variety of sourcing channels
• Screen and qualify candidates for competency and cultural fit
• Own full recruitment process including interview, feedback and offer process
• Manage multiple candidate channels including referrals, advertising and other campaigns
• Work across technical, non technical - junior and senior positions
• Represent the company with integrity and professionalism

Requirements

• 4+ years experience with sourcing and recruiting preferably in a startup environment 
• Successful track record identifying and qualifying exceptional engineering talent
• Experience sourcing candidates through multiple channels
• Good understanding of equity (stock options) preferred
• In-house and agency recruiting experience a plus
• Passion and understanding of technology as well as digital currency
• Excellent verbal and communication skills
• BS/BA degree (CS-related would be a bonus)
